School of the Word

'School of the Word' is designed to unpack the Bible book by book.  It will help you to observe and understand the message of the Bible as well as show you how to practically apply it to your life.  This is a year designed to allow the Word to challenge and build solid Biblical foundations in your life in order to grow you into the son or daughter God has called you to be.  School of the Word does not only focus on theoretical head knowledge but instead is a year designed to encourage you to allow the Word, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to mature and develop your character in order to reflect that of the Father.

You will spend 10 months inductively reading and studying each of the 66 books a number of times gaining an understanding of what the Bible really says and are given the opportunity to write your own commentary.  The year ends with a formal graduation ceremony.

Halfway through the year, we take the students on an exciting trip to the Bible lands where they will experience first hand all they will have been reading and learning about.  This is optional and the costs are to be covered by the student.

Throughout the year you will:
-  gain an understanding of what God says in His Word and show this to others
-  see how the books of the Bible relate to each other
-  gain an in-depth knowledge of each book of the Bible
-  get a fresh revelation of what this means in your life
-  be given a ‘hands-on’ in the principles of observation, interpretation
   and application
-  have the chance to write your own commentary on the Bible
-  creatively bring The Word to life through workshops, drama, day trips and more!
